1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using LocalPlayer, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple platform terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

2. The service

LocalPlayer provides local video organization and playback features, including:

• Browsing authorized videos in Photos and adding selected videos from Files to a persistent playlist.
• Sorting by date, name, or size; filtering short Photos videos when the Pro feature is unlocked; and removing file items from a playlist.
• Playback controls, playlist navigation, orientation changes, local progress recovery, and supported gestures.
• Optional Pro features including Picture in Picture, advanced playback speeds and press-and-hold 3x playback, multiple audio-track selection, and the duration filter.

Feature availability may depend on the device, iOS version, media format, file provider, and the media itself.

3. Photos, Files, and your content

You retain your rights in the media you access through LocalPlayer. You are responsible for having the permission and legal right to access, copy, play, or otherwise use that content. LocalPlayer does not grant rights to third-party media.

4. Permissions, removal, and deletion

You control Photos access through iOS and choose Files items through the system picker. If access is limited, revoked, or a file becomes unavailable, related features may stop working.

Removing an imported file from LocalPlayer removes its playlist entry and does not delete the original file. Deleting a Photos video is different: after an iOS confirmation, it may permanently remove the original from Photos and connected devices or services. Check the target and keep backups when needed.

5. LocalPlayer Pro purchases

LocalPlayer Pro is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase with no subscription. The price and currency shown by the App Store at purchase time apply. The purchase unlocks the Pro features available in the installed version, subject to compatibility and these terms.

Apple processes payment, provides the transaction, and controls refund eligibility. You can use Restore Purchases to recover a verified entitlement associated with the applicable Apple Account. LocalPlayer does not receive your full payment-card details.

6. Apple terms

When LocalPlayer is obtained through the App Store, Apple's applicable terms also apply, including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple is not responsible for support that the developer is required to provide.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse LocalPlayer, violate law or third-party rights, bypass purchase or security controls, interfere with the app or its services, distribute malicious content, or reverse engineer the product except where applicable law expressly permits it.

8. Intellectual property

LocalPlayer, its website, branding, interface, and original software and content are owned by the developer or applicable licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the product; they do not transfer ownership.

9. Availability and changes

We may fix, improve, add, limit, or discontinue features to address compatibility, safety, legal, or product needs. LocalPlayer may be unavailable because of device conditions, Apple services, file providers, maintenance, network problems, or events outside our control.

10. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, LocalPlayer is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every format or file, successful recovery of progress, continuous access to external files, or that every video can be prepared or played.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, data, profits, or access arising from LocalPlayer. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for LocalPlayer during the twelve months before the claim, unless law requires otherwise.

12. Termination

You may stop using LocalPlayer at any time. We may suspend access to developer-operated services when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security, legal requirements, or material breach. Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
